Library Press Display delivers complete newspapers from across the globe to Wayne State University students, faculty and staff. Hundreds of newspapers are available from the United States including major metropolitan papers such as the Washington Post or the Wimberley (Texas) View and still more from Argentina to Oman to the Ukraine along with international papers including the Wall Street Journal Europe.
A range of features lets you have your news how you like it best: Use a traditional two-page layout and browse each page with a click. Print, save or e-mail articles or take advantage of state-of-the-art digital tools. For some papers, advanced features are available that include subscribing for delivery via an RSS feed. Since the newspapers are in their original languages, aim the cursor at an article until its text is highlighted, click to translate the text into one of several languages or right-click and have the page translated by, for one example, Google. Some papers can even be read to you in its original language or a selection of additional languages.
At the top of the main Library Press Display page a pull down menu provides newspaper listings by language, country or alphabetically. You can also search the entire collection at once. The main page defaults to links to up-to-the-minute news and images and provides dynamic rankings of the most read papers, journalists or stories.
The complete newspapers in Library Press Display are only available for the past 60 days. If you have questions or comments please let us know.
