The Michigan Academy of Science, Arts and Letters is a regional professional organization that facilitates scholarly exchange through annual meetings and a journal of outstanding papers and news about research at Michigan colleges and universities. The 2009 annual meeting of the Michigan Academy of Science, Arts and Letters will be held at Wayne State University, March 20, 2009.

The Student Technology Studio located in the Undergraduate Library provides equipment and software for individual or small groups of students to use in creating multimedia projects, assignments or other course-related activities. A sample of the software available includes: Adobe CS2, Macromedia Suite 8 (Flash, Dreamweaver), Final Cut Express, Microsoft MovieMaker, Camtasia Studio and Microsoft Office 2007.
