With sales of E-readers expected to double in 2010, eBooks are redefining how publishers and libraries deliver content. Come and learn about e-book readers and other mobile devices, and the implications of electronic content; including who’s using them, potential pitfalls, and future trends. Try out the newest readers, including the iPad and Kindle, and see for yourself how the newest generation of E-readers compares to traditional content.
Presenter Paul Gallagher is the Developer Librarian for the Wayne State University Library System with the Digital Library Initiatives Team. Paul recently completed his MLIS degree at WSU and has ten years of I.T. experience including work with application development, technology instruction, and systems administration.
This free event is open to the general public.
