Important Update for Loansome Doc Users
Due to upcoming software changes in the Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery system, we can no longer process requests placed through Loansome Doc. We want to ensure you that serving your information needs is critical to our mission and we will continue to provide you with ILL and Document Delivery services.
All students, staff and faculty members of Wayne State University are assigned an AccessID by the University. The AccessID is a series of alphanumeric characters, such as zs1254. The AccessID, used in conjunction with your Pipeline (or Wayne e-mail) password, is the prescribed method of access to a host of electronic resources available to University affiliates as well as other services such as Interlibrary Loan.
By visiting www.lib.wayne.edu and clicking the link to your preferred Article Database or Google Scholar, you will be prompted to log in to EZProxy, and once you login, you will be able to access thousands of resources that you may not have had instant access to before. You will have access to PubMed Full-Text as well as hundreds of other databases encompassing thousands of titles and resources already available in PDF and HTML formats.
Requesting materials that are not instantly available online has never been easier, or faster. By following the ArticleLinker link available in most databases as well as Google Scholar, if you do not locate the full-text content, you will be prompted to “Request Digital Delivery of article if NOT available from INSTANT ACCESS area above”. Following the appropriate steps to request the article will initiate an “ArticleReach” request for digital delivery.

Once the libraries receive the request, it will be quickly processed using high quality scanning technology. You will be able to access your scans from automatic e-mails sent to you, or you may access them from your library account.
Requests not filled in ArticleReach will automatically pass to the traditional Interlibrary Loan system for request processing.
Thank you for your attention and patience during this streamlining of ILL/DD services.
With best regards,
Wayne State University Library System
