Storage
- Materials Storage is located in the basement of the WSULS Undergraduate Library, housing over 600,000 books, journals, phonographs and film
- The area is a closed collection but can be accessed by faculty via appointment by calling Joseph Sharpe, coordinator, at (313) 577-5595
- Materials requests can be made by filling out the Storage Request Form at http://www.lib.wayne.edu/ services/ borrowing_requesting/ storage_request_form.php or through filling out the fax request form available at any WSULS Access desk
- All storage requests are delivered to on-campus, law and medical library areas weekdays at 9:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 3:30pm and 5:00pm. Requests received by
- Storage within 15 minutes of the scheduled delivery time must wait for the next batch delivery. No deliveries are made past 5:00pm or weekends. Deliveries are made within eight (8) business hours to non-campus WSU locations
- Users requesting Storage materials receive an email notification upon delivery of their requested material. It is imperative that, if the service is desired, the correct user email is filled out on the request form.
- Storage materials delivery is a service only provided for items listed with a Storage location in the catalog and are readily available. Requesting a large number of items, requesting journals without providing proper year or volume number references, requesting items held in other locations, are checked out, in process, missing or lost will delay the process
