Checking ID's
As part of a series of new security measures the libraries will begin checking ID's at the entrances of UGL, SEL, Purdy, Kresge and Shiffman on September 12, 2005. ID's will only be checked from 6pm until closing every night.
Anyone affiliated with the University (students, faculty, staff) should be advised to bring their OneCard when entering the libraries after 6pm.
Unaffiliated users should be advised to bring some form of picture ID (driver's license, state id, etc). Unaffiliated users will also be asked to sign in upon entering the building.
Anyone who cannot present a picture ID will have to speak with a supervisor before gaining admittance to the building.
