The User Support Services group of Library Computing & Media Services provides support for users of computer resources in the WSU Libraries for for scholarly, educational, informational, and professional development purposes. User Support Services includes the operation of Computer Support or Help Desks within the Libraries’ computing areas which serve as the first point of contact for all computer-related assistance. User Support Services seeks to provide the highest level of customer service.
Currently, User Support Services provides student assistant staffing for the UGL Computer Services Help Desk including Advanced Computing resources for the Colleges of Engineering and Science. Access to computing for community members is also managed by User Support Services including the Community Access Terminals area in the UGL and community computers available in other libraries.
