Copies of our policies and procedures for requesting equipment are available in our office Purdy/Kresge Library 146 or online.

Due to limited supplies, Media Services schedules equipment on a first-come ,first served basis. Data projectors, smart carts and laptops are particularly in high demand. The more lead time you give us to provided equipment , the better we can serve your needs.

CALL TO CONFIRM (313) 577 1980 all orders or adds/changes three days prior to class meeting to insure order has been processed or changes have been made. Please do not estimate class start time, use actual class start time as shown in the University Class Schedule.

If the Instructor is not present the equipment may not be left. Media Services Technician will determine if the classroom is secure enough to leave equipment.

Locked rooms will not be serviced unless technicians are given access to the room.

Media Services will not provide service on university make-up days, study days, vacations/breaks, or during finals unless notified by the Instructor/Department.

Arrive early for class-at least 5 minutes prior. This allows time to check your equipment, review presentation materials and talk with the Technician about any questions or special needs you may have. ;Ascertain with the Technician how best to contact him or her should you need assistance while class is in progress.
