Shiffman Medical Library & School of Medicine Lab @ #2238 Scott Hall

Shiffman Medical Library and the School of Medicine lab at Scott Hall #2238 consists of 30 Dell OptiPlex 745 computers with DVD-R/RW, floppy diskette drive and Windows XP, a scanner, and two networked printers. All computers are connected to the Internet and two networked laser printers. General productivity software, a suite of clients for Internet access, computer-based instructional programs, specialized software for statistical analysis (SPSS and SAS) and bibliographic management (Endnote) are installed on those computers.

The Lab@Scott Hall opens 24 hours 7 days to the WSU School of Medicine students, residents, faculty and staff. A student lab assistant is usually available in the computer lab for assistance (see schedule). Users are welcome to email askmed@wayne.edu for any suggestions or comments, or ask library staff at Shiffman@Scott Hall (#2367) for assistance by calling (313) 577-4118.
