Shiffman Liaison Librarian Services

Liaison Librarians are assigned to various departments and centers to help identify and expedite departmental library service needs and requests. Please consider how library services might help advance your research, scholarship and teaching needs. Reference and Information Seeking

• Librarians provide reference assistance Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm, call 313-577-1094, send an e-mail to askmed@wayne.edu, or visit the library on the first floor of the Mazurek Medical Education Commons
• Contact your librarian liaison to arrange a research consultation, library instruction, orientation, or library tour.

Your liaison librarian can work with you to arrange instructional sessions for your students, department or center, on the most effective use of library resources and services, searching the medical and health sciences literature, evaluating information on the Internet, and more...
