Shiffman Medical Library
University Libraries collaborates with many educational organizations and institutions to ensure that the history of Michigan is preserved and accessed in a digital format. Over 50,000 images and texts celebrate Detroit's contributions to the arts, fashion, history, architecture, interior design and medicine. In addition, University Libraries provides access to Visual Resources@WSU -- over 100,000 dynamic images of art, architecture, and world history. Equipped with the ability to search, browse and generate presentations, Digital Collections@WSU are ideal for research and rich-classroom instruction in a wide range of disciplines.
Digital Collections@WSU were created through grant-funded partnerships with local institutions, digitization of material held in our special collections, and licensing images from publishers. Directed by Nardina N. Mein, we're frequently making additions to Digital Collections@WSU and welcome your suggestions and new project ideas -- please share them with Jon McGlone.
