Remote Access for Wayne State University Students, Faculty and Staff Medical Campus Version WSU students, faculty and staff have access to the Internet, to the University Libraries' licensed resources (e.g., electronic journals) and to our Library Catalog. To dial-in, you must have the university's AccessID to be an authorized user. Even when you use the School of Medicine's e-mail as your electronic mail account, the AccessID is necessary to access OVID MEDLINE, the electronic journals and the array of important health sciences information resources. AccessID: For information about obtaining the AccessID, visit the C&IT web site or call 313-577-4778, the C&IT Help Desk. WSU Residents can get assistance from the WSU/DMC Graduate Medical Education Program Office to get their AccessID. As a courtesy for the School of Medicine, College of Pharmacy/Allied Health Professions and WSU Residents, the Shiffman Library's Reference Desk staff can assist in finding AccessIDs or resetting passwords. You will need to come to the desk in person with valid identification. Only C&IT distributes the AccessIDs initially.
More information about setting up remote access is available here. More information about how to accessing library resources from the Internet is available here.
