Lab M (Room 101)
This lab, on main
floor of the Shiffman Medical Library, has 30 Dell computers (Optiplex
GX 400) with DVD ROM, zip and floppy diskette drive, Intel Pentium
4 and Window 2000. All computers are connected to the Internet and
to two networked laser printers. General productivity software, a
suite of clients for Internet access, a scanner for both text and
imaging, specialized software for statistical analysis, and computer-based
instructional programs are installed on those computers. Instructional
CD-ROMs, manuals, and head phones can be checked out at the Circulation
Desk. All software is licensed for the SOM students and faculty only.
